Saran : perawat dapat menerapkan dan mengaplikasikan intervensi yang telah diberikan kepada pasien yang memiliki gula darah tinggi Abstract (EN): Background: Diabetes mellitus is a metabolic disorder of blood sugar that can be caused by a lack of insulin hormone or insulin resistance, where the sugar level in the blood will increase and the excess will be excreted through urine so that urine output increases and contains sugar. A person can be said to have diabetes mellitus if the fasting blood glucose level is >126 mg/dL or random blood sugar level is >200 mg/dL . One of the complications of Diabetes Mellitus is diabetic neuropathy in the feet, namely ulcers. One of the treatments that can be done in diabetes mellitus patients with high blood sugar is Progressive Muscle Relaxation. Progressive muscle relaxation therapy has an effect on reducing the patient's blood sugar level so that the patient's blood sugar level is reduced. The first patient's blood sugar level from 251 mg/dl to 123 mg/dl and the second patient's blood sugar level from 388 mg/dl to 141 mg/dl. Objective: Students are able to manage family nursing care with a complementary nursing approach to Mr. S's family in the LASI community health center work area in 2025 Results: Family nursing care with a complementary nursing approach obtained three diagnoses, namely ineffective family health management, health behavior tends to be risky, decreased family coping. After being given progressive muscle relaxation therapy for 3 consecutive days, the results showed that Mr. S's high blood sugar decreased from 472 to 286. Conclusion: The nursing problems in Mr. S can be achieved and resolved well according to the nursing plan and progressive muscle relaxation therapy can reduce high blood sugar that the client has. Suggestion: nurses can implement and apply the interventions that have been given to patients who have high blood sugar
