Abstrak
Salah satu masalah pada saat menyusui yaitu produksi ASI yang kurang sehingga mempengaruhi pemberian ASI Ekslusif. Berdasarkan laporan dinas Kabupaten Agam pada tahun 2021 capaian pemberian ASI Ekslusif di Kabupaten Agam yaitu 69,68%, pada tahun 2022 mengalami penurunan menjadi 69,11% dan pada tahun 2023 masih kembali mengalami penurunan menjadi 68,57%. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh woolwich massage terhadap Produksi ASI pada ibu post partum di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Magek Kabupaten Agam Tahun 2024. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dengan desain penelitian pretest and post test one group design. Pengumpulan data telah dilakukan pada bulan Oktober - November 2024. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua ibu post partum pada bulan November di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Magek yang berjumlah 46 orang dan jumlah sampel 32 orang dengan teknik pengambilan sampel purposive Sampling. Data dianalisis secara univariat dan analisis bivariat dengan menggunakan uji t test paired. Hasil penelitian didapatkan rata-rata produksi ASI sebelum intervensi adalah 360,0 ml dan sesudah interevensi adalah 429,53 ml. Hasil uji statistik terdapat pengaruh woolwich massage terhadap Produksi ASI pada ibu post partum di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Magek Kabupaten Agam Tahun 2024 dengan nilai p value=0,000. Kesimpulan terdapat pengaruh woolwich massage terhadap Produksi ASI pada ibu post partum di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Magek Kabupaten Agam Tahun 2024. Disarankan kepada petugas kesehatan untuk menganjurkan ibu menyusui melakukan woolwich massage untuk membantu meningkatkan produksi ASI. Abstract (EN): One of the problems during breastfeeding is insufficient breast milk production, which affects the provision of exclusive breastfeeding. According to the Agam Regency Health Office report, the achievement rate of exclusive breastfeeding in Agam Regency was 69.68% in 2021, decreased to 69.11% in 2022, and further declined to 68.57% in 2023. This study aims to determine the effect of Woolwich massage on breast milk production in postpartum mothers in the working area of Puskesmas Magek, Agam Regency, in 2024. This research is an experimental study using a pretest and posttest one-group design. Data collection was conducted from October to November 2024. The population in this study comprised all postpartum mothers in November in the working area of Puskesmas Magek, totaling 46 individuals, with a sample size of 32 participants selected through purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using univariate and bivariate analysis with a paired t-test. The results showed that the average breast milk production before the intervention was 360.0 ml, while after the intervention, it increased to 429.53 ml. Statistical tests revealed a significant effect of Woolwich massage on breast milk production in postpartum mothers in the working area of Puskesmas Magek, Agam Regency, in 2024, with a p-value of 0.000. In conclusion, Woolwich massage positively affects breast milk production in postpartum mothers in the working area of Puskesmas Magek, Agam Regency, in 2024. It is recommended that healthcare providers encourage breastfeeding mothers to perform Woolwich massage to help increase breast milk production.
