Abstrak
Lansia merupakan kelompok lanjut usia yang telah mengalami penurunan dan keterbatasan kemampuan fisik dan psikologis, sehingga lansia rentan mengalami gangguan emosional berupa depresi, harga diri rendah, serta gangguan konsep diri, apalagi pada kelompok lansia yang merasa menjadi beban keluarga dan dititipkan di panti sosial.. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh peran kelompok pendukung dan terapi aktivitas kelompok terhadap harga diri lansia di Panti Sosial Trena Werdha Kasih Sayang Ibu Batusangkar Tahun 2016. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional study. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh lansia yang ada di PSTW Batusangkar sebanyak 70 orang. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik total sampling berdasarkan kriteria inklusi 55 orang. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuisioner, setelah terkumpul data diolah dengan komputerisasi meliputi analisis univariat dan analisis bivariat menggunakan uji chi square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 33 orang (60%) menyatakan peran kelompok pendukung adalah aktif, 29 orang (52,7%) tidak mengikuti terapi aktivitas kelompok dengan baik dan 31 orang (56,4%) dengan kategori harga diri rendah. Ada hubungan peran kelompok pendukung ( p = 0,007, OR = 5,714) dan terapi aktivitas kelompok (p = 0,008, OR = 5,455) dengan harga diri lansia. Disimpulkan bahwa peran kelompok pendukung dan terapi aktivitas kelompok berhubungan dengan harga diri lansia. Diharapkan kepada lansia untuk selalu membangun interaksi sosial yang baik antara sesama anggota di Panti sosial tresna werdha kasih sayang ibu Batusangka. Abstract (EN): Elderly are the group of post menstrual age who as decreased and limited capability physical ang phychological, so that elderly susceptible was suffering from a emotional of depression, los self esteem and disorder the conceptof self, let alone in the elderly whofelt be to be their families and charity in social house. Research aims to understand the influence of the role support group and therapeutic group activities to self esteem elederly in social house tresna werdha affection mother Batusangkar in 2016. The kind research is descriptive analytic with the approach cross sectional study and population to research it is a whole elderly that i in PSTW Batusangkar 70 people. The sample use technique total of sampling based on the criteria inclution of 55 people. Data were collected use quisioner then data mixed with computerized covering analysis univariat and analysis bivariat use test chi square. The result showed there were 33 respondents (60%) have category of the support group are active, 29 respondents (52,7 %) did not attend therapy group activities well and 31 respondents (56,4%) category low self esteem. There was a correlation the role supporter ( p=0,007 OR = 5,714) and therapeutic group activities p = 0,008 ( OR =5, 455 with self esteem elderly). Concluded the the role of a support group anf therapeutic group activities relating to self esteem elderly. Expected to elderly to always build good social interaction between their fellow part social house.
