Abstrak
Frozen Shoulder biasanya terjadi pada usia 40-60 tahun dari 2-5% populasi 60% banyak mengenai wanita dibanding pria. Kondisi ini juga terjadi pada penderita diabetes melitus sekitar 10-20% dari penderitanya termasuk dalam faktor resiko sekitar 15% terkena pada kedua sisi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan Micro Wave Diathermy (MWD) terhadap pengurangan nyeri pada kasus Frozen Shoulder di RSUD Solok Tahun 2015. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Quasi Eksperimen dengan desain One Group Pretest-Postest. Populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 16 responden dengan teknik pengambilan sampel Purposive Sampling. Pengumpulan data penelitian menggunakan lembar observasi. Analisis data dilakukan secara komputerisasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata nyeri sebelum pemberian MWD adalah 7,25 dan rata-rata nyeri setelah pemberian MWD adalah 3,56, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh terhadap pengurangan nyeri sebelum dan sesudah intervensi, dengan nilai P value = 0,000 , hal itu berarti P value < 0,05 Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemberian terapi dengan modalitas MWD memberikan pengaruh cukup baik terhadap pengurangan nyeri pada pasien Frozen Shoulder. Diharapkan kepada petugas rumah sakit bagian fisioterapi agar dapat memanfaatkan penggunaan MWD untuk mengurangi nyeri pada pasien Frozen Shoulder, serta dapat meningkatkan promosi kesehatan pada masyarakat. Abstract (EN): Frozen Shoulder usually happened in the age of 40-60 years old from 25% population, 60% of them is women. This condition also happened in diabetes militus, about 10-20% of them are the people who have a risk to get frozen shoulder, 15% of them get it in both shoulders. The aim of this research is to know the effects of the use if micro wave diathermy (MWD) towards the decreasing of pain in frozen shoulder cases in RSUD Solok in 2015. This is Quasi Experiment research, using one group pretest-posttest design. Population in this research are 16 respondents, the samples were taken by using purpusive sampling technique. The data was collected by using observation sheets. The data then were computerized. The result of this research shows that the pain before the giving of MWD are 7,25 and pain after the giving of MWD are 3,56. It means that there are the effects of MWD towards the decreasing of pain before and after intervention, p=0,000, it means p value < 0.05. It can be concluded that the giving of MWD can give a good effect in decreasing of pain in frozen shoulder patients. It is hoped to the medics to use MWD to decrease the pain in frozen shoulder patients and increase the socialization.
