Abstrak
Kematian ibu di Sumatera barat 2023 sebanyak 178 orang. Kasus kematian nifas terbanyak terjadi pada 24 jam pertama, yang dapat diakibatkan salah satunya karena infeksi. Kasus infeksi masa nifas sering berlanjut menjadi infeksi akut. Luka terjadi karena rusaknya struktur dan fungsi anatomis yang normal akibat proses patologis yang berasal baik dari internal maupun eksternal dan mengenai organ tertentu. Aloe vera adalah tanaman yang telah digunakan untuk mengobati berbagai penyakit sejak zaman kuno. Gel aloe vera mengandung berbagai glikoprotein yang dapat mengurangi peradangan dan rasa sakit, sehingga mempercepat penyembuhan luka. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan lidah buaya (aloe vera) terhadap penyembuhan luka bekas sectio caesarea di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Gunung Medan. Penelitian ini telah dilakukan bulan September 2024 di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Gunung Medan Kabupaten Dharmasraya Tahun 2024. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua ibu SC November 2024 di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Gunung Medan sebanyak 21 orang. Sampel di ambil dengan teknik pengambilan Purposive Sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar observasi. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode quasi-eksperimen dengan desain pre post test. Analisa data yaitu analisa univariat dan bivariat dengan menggunakan uji statistic wilcoxon. Hasil penelitian didapatkan rata-rata skor penyembuhan luka sebelum diberikan lidah buaya yaitu 3,095 dengan standar deviasi 0,624. skor minimal 2 dan maksimal 4. Rata-rata skor penyembuhan luka sesudah diberikan lidah buaya yaitu 0,300 dengan standar deviasi 0,300. Analisa bivariate diperoleh ada pengaruh penggunaan lidah buaya (aloe vera) terhadap penyembuhan luka bekas section caesarea dengan nilai p – value 0,000. Diharapkan kepada ibu dapat menambah pengetahuan mengenai penggunaan gel lidah buaya yang berguna untuk penyembuhan luka bekas SC. Abstract (EN): Maternal deaths in West Sumatra in 2023 will be 178 people. The most cases of postpartum death occur within the first 24 hours, which can be caused by infections among other factors. Cases of postpartum infections often progress to acute infections. Wounds occur due to the damage to normal anatomical structures and functions as a result of pathological processes originating from both internal and external sources and affecting specific organs. Aloe vera is a plant that has been used to treat various diseases since ancient times. Aloe vera gel contains various glycoproteins which can reduce inflammation and pain, thereby speeding up wound healing. The aim of the research was to determine the effect of using aloe vera on the healing of caesarean section scars in the working area of the Gunung Medan Community Health Center. This research was conducted in September 2024 in the Working Area of the Gunung Medan Health Center, Dharmasraya Regency in 2024. The population in this study were all 21 SC mothers in November 2024 in the Working Area of the Gunung Medan Health Center. Samples were taken using the Purposive Sampling technique. The instrument used in this research was a observation sheet. The research was conducted using a quasi-experimental method with a pre-post test design. Data analysis is univariate and bivariate analysis using the Wilcoxon statistical test. The research results showed that the average wound healing score before being given aloe vera was 3.095 with a standard deviation of 0.624. The minimum score is 2 and the maximum is 4. The average score for wound healing after being given aloe vera is 0.300 with a standard deviation of 0.300. Bivariate analysis showed that there was an effect of using aloe vera on the healing of caesarean section scars with a p - value of 0.000. It is hoped that mothers can increase their knowledge regarding the use of aloe vera gel which is useful for healing SC wounds.
