Abstrak
Osteoarthritis atau disebut juga penyakit sendi degeneratif adalah suatu kelainan pada kartilago (tulang rawan sendi ) yang ditandai dengan perubahan klinis, histologis, dan radiologis. Penyakit ini bersifat asimetris, tidak meradang dan tidak ada komponen sistemik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian infra red dan terapi latihan terhadap meningkatkan kekuatan otot pada penderita osteoarthrtitis genu patello femural joint di RSUD Solok tahun 2015. Penelitian ini bersifat Eksperimental Semu yaitu mengungkapkan With Pre- Post Test dengan metode pendekatan antara Pretest-Postest terapi. Pengambilan sample menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan jumlah sample 10 pasien. Dengan uji dependent test dan independen t-tes. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa rata-rata kekuatan otot sebelum dilakukan 1,90 dan setelah 3,70 dengan p=0,003 ( p<0,05) ada pengaruh antara pemberian infra red dan terapi latihan terhadap peningkatan kekuatan otot. Disimpulkan bahwa pengaruh pemberian infra red dan terapi latihan terhadap meningkatkan kekuatan otot pada penderita osteoarhtritis untuk dapat selalu aktif dan disiplin mengikuti program terapi yang efektif dalam peningkatan kekuatan otot,khususnya dalam pelaksanaan terapi dengan modalitas IR dan Terapi Latihan. Abstract (EN): Osteoarthritis also called degenerative joint disease is a disorder of cartilage (joint cartilage) is characterized by changes in the clinical, histological and radiological. This disease is asymmetrical, it is not inflamed and no systemic component. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of infra-red and therapeutic exercises to improve muscle strength in patients with patello femural osteoarthrtitis genu joint in Solok District Hospital in 2015. This study is experimental ev is revealed With Pre- Post Test with the method of approach between pretest-posttest therapy , Sampling using purposive sampling with sample size of 10 patients. Test test dependent and independent t-tests. The result showed that the average muscle strength before and after 3.70 to 1.90, p = 0.003 (p <0.05) the effect between the provision of infra red and exercise therapy to increase muscle strength. It was concluded that the effect of infrared and exercise therapy to improve muscle strength in patients osteoarhtritis to be always active and disciplined therapy program that is effective in increasing muscle strength, especially in the implementation of the modalities Infra Red therapy and exercise therapy.
