The World Health Organization (WHO) has recommended exclusive breastfeeding until the baby is 6 months old. WHO data shows that exclusive breastfeeding is 67.96% in 2023, in Indonesia it has a percentage of 79-97%, data from Riskesdas 12% exclusive breastfeeding, in West Sumatra as much as 75.84% exclusive breastfeeding. The target of exclusive breastfeeding achievement at Sungai Limau Health Center is 80%. This study aims to examine the Factors Related to Exclusive Breastfeeding Coverage at Sungai Limau Health Center, Dharmasraya Regency in 2024. This study uses a quantitative method with a cross-sectional design. The population of this study was 137 breastfeeding mothers. The total sampling technique was 137 respondents. Based on the results of the study, the p-value (0.004) α (0.05) was obtained, there is no relationship between pregnancy spacing and exclusive breastfeeding coverage. The p-value (0.462)> α (0.05) was obtained, there is no relationship between attitudes and exclusive breastfeeding coverage. The p-value (137)> α (0.05) was obtained, there is no relationship between Family Support and exclusive breastfeeding coverage. The p-value (0.200)> α (0.05) was obtained, there was no relationship between breastfeeding techniques and the coverage of exclusive breastfeeding. It can be concluded that only knowledge affects the coverage of exclusive breastfeeding, while for pregnancy spacing, attitudes, family support, and breastfeeding techniques do not affect the coverage of exclusive breastfeeding. It is recommended to expand the scope of exclusive breastfeeding studies by considering cultural, psychological, and socio-economic factors that influence its success. The community needs to increase understanding and awareness of the importance of exclusive breastfeeding through community-based education.
