Abstrak
World Health Organization (WHO) melaporkan bahwa diabetes menyebabkan 48% kematian sebelum usia 70 tahun dan 1,5 juta kematian langsung. Berdasarkan survei awal yang dilakukan di Puskesmas Lasi Kabupaten Agam, ditemukan bahwa diabetes adalah penyakit terbanyak nomor 6 dari 10 penyakit terbanyak, dengan 687 pasien yang menderita DM diwilayah kerja Puskesmas. Tujuan : Mengetahui konsep dasar tentang diabetes melitus, melakukan asuhan keperawatan untuk Tn. I yang menderita diabetes, dan mengaplikasikan jurnal terkait asuhan keperawatan .Metode : Pengumpulan data dilakaukan studi kasus pada pasien Tn.I dengan melakukan pengecekan kadar guka dalam darah dan pemeriksaan tubuh pasien. Hasil : Asuhan keperawatan diabetes melitus pada Tn.I didapatkan 3 diagnosa yaitu Manajemen kesehatan tidak efektif, gangguan integritas kulit, ketidakstabilan kadar glukosa dalam darah dan dilakukan tindakan keperawatan komplementer yaitu : edukasi diet 3J, peratwatan luka dengan madu hutan dan rebusan air dan pokat yang bisa mengatasi masalah keperawatan tersebut. Kesimpulan : Proses pengkajian asuhan keperawatan keluarga memerlukan hubungan percaya antara keluarga dan mahasiswa. Informasi diperoleh melalui wawancara, pemeriksaan fisik, dan observasi. Abstract (EN): The World Health Organization (WHO) reports that diabetes causes 48% of deaths before the age of 70 and 1.5 million direct deaths. Based on an initial survey conducted at the Lasi Community Health Center in Agam District, it was found that diabetes is the sixth most common disease out of the ten most common diseases, with 687 patients suffering from DM in the work area of the Community Health Center. Objective: To understand the basic concepts of diabetes mellitus, provide nursing care for Mr. I who suffers from diabetes, and apply relevant nursing care journals .Method: Data collection was conducted through a case study on patient Mr. I by checking blood sugar levels and examining the patient's body. Results: Diabetes mellitus nursing care for Mr. I resulted in 3 diagnoses, namely ineffective health management, skin integrity disorders, and unstable blood glucose levels. Complementary nursing actions were carried out, namely: 3J diet education, wound care with forest honey and boiled water, and pokat, which can overcome these nursing problems. Conclusion: The process of assessing family nursing care requires a trusting relationship between the family and the student. Information was obtained through interviews, physical examinations, and observations.
