Abstrak
Istilah “psikologi” secara epistemologi berasal dari bahasa yunani,yaitu kata psyche dan logos. psyche artinya jiwa dan logos artinya ilmu. Dengan demikian, secara harfiah psikologi adalah ilmu jiwa atau dengan pengertian lain ilmu yang mempelajari gejala-gejala kejiwaan. Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) adalah virus yang menyerang atau menginfeksi sel darah putih yang mengakibatkan menurunnya kekebalan tubuh manusia dan menjadi penyebab terjadinya Aqciured Immunodeficiency Symndrome (AIDS). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk menganalisa prosess psikologis pada ODHA dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif fenomenologi. Sebanyak 12 partisipan berpartisipasi menceritakan pengalamannya. Metode wawancara mendalam dan observasi merupakan alat bantu pengumpulan data. Data dianalisis menggunakan metode Cresswell. Penelitian ini mengidentifikasi dua tema yaitu (1) respon psikologi negatif, dan (2) respon psikologis positif. Hasil dari penelitian didapatkan bahwa rata-rata partisipan mengalami proses psikologi yang negatif pada awal penerimaan dirinya sebagai ODHA, dengan adaanya dukungan dari keluarga respon psikologis mengalami perubahan kearah psikologi yang positif dan bisa menerima dirinya sebagai ODHA. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa partisipan mengalami respon yang negatif ketika mengetahui bahwa dirinya terdeksi HIV/AIDS. Seiring berjalannya waktu partisipan mulai bisa menerima statusnya sebagai ODHA karena adanya dukungan dari pihak keluarga, suami, istri, dan juga anak. Abstract (EN): The term psychology in epistemology comes from the greek, that are psyche and logos. Psyche it means lives and logos it means the science.Thus, literally psychology is the science people or with the other definitions of science that studies symptoms psychiatric.The human immunodeficiency virus ( HIV is the virus that attacked or infect white blood cells resulted in a decreased human immune and become the cause of aqciured immunodeficiency symndrome ( AIDS ). This research in a qualitative aimed at to analyze processing psychological in living by adopting descriptive phenomenology .As many as 12 participants participate recounting their experiences . In-depth interviews and observation was used, to collect data .Data analyzed uses the method cresswell. This research identified two the theme which are ( 1 ) response negative psychology, and ( 2 ) psychological positive response. The result of research got that the average participants subjected to the process of psychology that negative at the beginning of revenue himself as living, with a support of the family response psychological changed at psychology a positive and can accepts their self as living The research can be concluded that participants experienced negative response to know that their suffered HIV/AIDS .Through the passing of time participants can began to receive its status of the living because of support from the people of the , husband , wife, and also the son .
