Abstrak
Angka Kematian Ibu (AKI) dan Angka Kematian Bayi (AKB) merupakan indicator penting dari derajat kesehatan dan keberhasilan pelayanan kesehatan serta masalah kesehatan di seluruh negara. Program yang diselenggarakan oleh Kementrian Kesehatan untuk mendukung langkah tersebut adalah melalui pengembangan Kelas Ibu Hamil. Berdasarkan Profil Dinas Kesehatan Kota Bukittinggi tahun 2015, pelaksanaan kegiatan kelas ibu hamil belum memenuhi standar yang ada dimana baru1 kelas pada 1 kelurahan, sementara seharusnya semua sasaran ibu hamil harus melaksanakan kelas ibu hamil. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pelaksanaan kelas ibu hamil di tiga puskesmas kota bukittinggi tahun 2016. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif, yaitu dengan melakukan wawancara mendalam terhadap beberapa informan. Teknik penentuan informan adalah purposive sampling dengan jumlah informan sebanyak 8 orang. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan september 2016. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis isi dan pembahasan dilakukan secara deskriptif terhadap unsur masukan, proses, keluaran. Hasil penelitian ini adalah Kebijakan tentang pelaksanaan kelas ibu hamil tertuang dalam DPA, Kelengkapan Tenaga kesehatan untuk pelaksanaan kelas ibu hamil pada umumnya telah lengkap, Ketersediaan sarana dan prasarana keterbatasan dari segi tempat, pelaksanaan kelas ibu hamil mulai dari perencanaan sampai dengan evaluasi masih ditermukan berbagai hambatan, dan cakupan kelas ibu hamil belum mencapai terget. Pelaksanaan kelas ibu hamil di tiga puskesmas kota Bukittinggi secara keseluruhan sudah baik. Disarankan untuk meningkatkan motivasi dari ibu hamil untuk datang ke kelas ibu hamil juga diharapkan bagi stake holder lebih pro aktif dalam mempromosikan kelas ibu hamil agar pelaksanaan kelas ibu hamil dapat mencapai target.
